Our Story

Thanks for taking the time to learn about our Journey. My name is Joey and my Mother Molly has Lewy Body Dementia. In an effort to educate and show the world what Dementia really does to people, we created a weekly YouTube series that is being watched by people all over the world. It’s impossible to simply read about Dementia and understand the magnitude of this disease. These real-life videos help those dealing with Dementia, those who have lost someone with Dementia, and even people that have never heard of Dementia. It's my hope that these videos will inspire people to do better in life and hold on to their loved ones while they can.

Our videos will make you laugh, cry and fill you with shock. It’s these exact emotions that people go through when dealing with this devastating condition.  The reality of Dementia is much harsher than forgetting where you put your keys or the TV remote control.

We launched our video series on Jan 17, 2017. Since then, these videos have been viewed over 80 million times. The videos went viral in the US, Germany, Netherlands, Canada, UK, Taiwan, Australia, and many more countries. Over 40 media outlets have picked up our story. There are thousands of supporters who have joined us through Facebook and YouTube to help us with this fight.

Dementia and Alzheimer's are global problems and will be the number one killer globally unless we get help from the government and other officials throughout the world to fight these diseases with a steady flow of funds and research. It is for this reason and because of the love I have for my mother Molly, that I have dedicated myself full-time to creating awareness for Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in Molly's Movement for your time, consideration, love and passion, always moving forward and making a difference every day. We can only jump forward, not backwards or sideways.
